The Fourth Moscow Fashion Week, held from March 13 to 18, 2025, at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall, brought together top designers, fashion experts, and global buyers for a week of creativity and collaboration. Among the many highlights, Indian designers made a strong impression, showcasing their craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and commitment to sustainability.
One of the standout showcases was "FDCI presents: CoEK-Khadi India | Samant Chauhan." Organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), this presentation celebrated India's rich textile traditions through Khadi, a handwoven, eco-friendly fabric known for its durability and timeless appeal. The collection masterfully blended traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary fashion trends, capturing the attention of international audiences.
Moscow Fashion Week served as more than just a runway event—it became a cultural bridge between India and Russia. Indian designers not only displayed their unique textile artistry but also introduced the Russian audience to India’s deep-rooted fashion traditions and ethical design practices.
The event featured nearly 200 industry professionals, including designers, stylists, buyers, and media representatives. Alongside the runway shows, attendees participated in panel discussions, workshops, and fashion film screenings from countries such as Argentina, Germany, Mexico, the U.S., the Philippines, and South Africa.
